Allow us to introduce you to the new tropical drink in town: the Island Breeze.

Growing up, my mom’s favorite flavors of anything were coconut and pineapple. She loves Piña Coladas and other island-y drinks, and would order them when we were in some type of tropical paradise.

My family tried to do as much traveling as we could when I was growing up. We would usually have one big vacation planned each year. If we ever went on a cruise to the Caribbean, island drinks were on the way!

My mom was the inspiration for this Island Breeze drink due to its fruity flavor that I would taste when I would have a sip or two of those Pina Coladas! (I’ve gotta make sure it’s safe, right?)

Coconut Pineapple and Island Mango were perfect Ninja Thirsti flavors to add to this drink. However, we knew it needed just a little something more. Pineapple juice made a perfect addition to add just a little extra sweetness and a whole lotta yum!

When it was time to garnish, we added a slice of pineapple with a little umbrella. I’m not sure if you knew, but island drinks are also known as umbrella drinks, so it’s only fitting.

If you really want to go wild, try serving this in a coconut or pineapple! We didn’t have one on hand that was already cut, but feel free to splurge.

With this drink, you’ll feel like you’re soaking up the sun while listening to the crashing of the waves and steel drums play!

This Island Breeze drink transports you to a tropical paradise with flavors of coconut, pineapple, and mango. Deliciously sweet, this drink is one that definitely deserves an umbrella!

Ingredients

  • Ninja Thirsti Coconut Pineapple Drops

  • Ninja Thirsti Island Mango Drops

  • 1 Tbsp Pineapple Juice

Directions

  • Ensure the Ninja Thirsti water reservoir has at least 12oz of cold water.
  • Place a handful of ice cubes in your desired drink glass.

    Note: this recipe makes a 12oz Island Breeze.
  • Pour 1 tbsp pineapple juice over the ice.
  • Place the glass in the the Ninja Thirsti on the bottom holder.
  • Insert the Coconut Pineapple & Island Mango Thirsti drops into the machine.
  • Select the settings:

    Still
    Coconut Pineapple Drops x 1
    Island Mango Drops x 2
    12oz Drink
  • Time for the magic! Press the Start button.
  • Once the drink has fully dispensed and the Thirsti makes the “Done” sound, remove the drink from the machine.
  • Stir the drink to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  • (Optional) Garnish with a pineapple chunk or slice and a umbrella to feel like you’re on a tropical island!
  • Now your Island Breeze is ready to enjoy!
